PROHIBITIONS: letters, except one for the addressee; firearms (except sporting guns admitted under permit) and air guns; West African currency notes; wireless telegraph apparatus.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of plants. INSURANCE only to Bathurst.

PROHIBITIONS: letters; bees; Austrian and German bank-notes and coins, unless sent to an Austrian or German credit institution with an indication that they are to be credited to a foreigner in a blocked account; opium. morphine, cocaine and other narcotics, except for medical purposes and on condition that a permit issued by the German Health Authorities (Reichs- gesundheitsamt, Berlin, N.W.23) is attached to the relative despatch note; saccharine and similar products.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of arms; bulbs; cinematograph films; game; meat; plants and potatoes; wines and spirits. Special conditions

apply to foodstuffs (particularly dairy produce) and the sender of a parcel should obtain information from the addressee beforehand. USED CLOTHING and body linen which is not imported for sale or for indus-

trial purposes is admitted free of duty.
