PROHIBITIONS: letters; counters resembling coin; spirits; weights and mea-

sures not of the decimal system.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of: arms

arms (including airguns); books and printed matter in Arabic; mineral waters; preserved plums, sardines and vegetables; saccharine and similar substances. ADDRESS: parcels are accepted only for:

SEALING: parcels should be sealed with a distinctive device.

CHARGES for inland conveyance are collected from the addressees, except at

Cotonou.

PROHIBITIONS: letters; arms, except under permit.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of many articles. The sender of a

parcel should obtain information from the addressee beforehand.

PACKING: parcels sent via Germany must be very strongly packed and must

be sealed.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS must bear the actual signature of the sender.

shoes; medicines; spirits.
