PROHIBITIONS. Gold, jewellery, platinum, precious stones, silver; bank-notes, currency notes and documents payable to bearer; all dutiable articles (except printed matter: see below), which, if found, are confiscated.

PRINTED MATTER liable to Customs duty may be sent by printed papers post, provided that each packet bears a green Cus- toms label, and that a Customs declaration is made out in quadruplicate for each packet or

for each packet or batch of packets not exceeding 10 for the same addressee. One copy of the Customs declaration must be enclosed with the printed mat- ter, the others sent respectively to the Customs authorities at the port of entry (Ciudad Bolivar, La Guayra, Maracaibo, or Puerto Cabello), to the Director General of Posts, Cara- cas, and to the SALA DE EXAMEN DE LA Contaduría GENERAL DE HACIENDA, Caracas. The Customs declarations should be made out in French or Spanish.
