Parcels are delivered by the Railway Companies and not by the Post Office; and parcels intended to be called for should be addressed, not to a Poste Restante, but to a Railway Station (en gare). There are exceptions in case of certain places distant from a railway.

Deer, white kares, Californian quails: and certain ornamental pheas- ants when in their feathers,.
