Parcels may be accepted for
any place in Cuba, but if the post office of the place of destination is not authorised to deal with parcels the addressees must claim them at the nearest delivery office.
A separate despatch note and 2 Customs Declarations must be
prepared for each parcel.
Certified in voice by the Cubian consul is required.
Letters; poisons, tobacco seeds; dead animals and insects unless thoroughly dried; fruits and vegetables liable to early decomposition, and arms of all kinds.
Parcels are delivered at the
following places :-Famagusta, Head Quarters Camp, Kyrenia, Larnaca, Limassol, Nicosia, Palemedia, Papho, and Troodos.
No compensation is given for the loss in Cyprus of parcels containing watches or jewellery.
Hashish, locust, eggs, salt (other than table or rock salt); silver and copper coins and pre-Victorian gold coins.
