Business Hours, etc.
1.-The General Post Office is in Pedder Street, with branch offices at Wantsai (Queen's Road East), Sheung Wan (Morrison Street), Sai Ying Pun (Pokfulam Road), Kowloon (Tsimshatsui), Yaumati (Waterloo Road), Sham- shuipo (Nam Cheong Street), and Kowloon City (Nga Tsin Wai Road).
2. On week days the General Post Office is open for all purposes, except Money Order business, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Money Order Office is open from 10 a.m, to 4 p.m., except on Saturdays when it closes at 1 p.m. Postal Notes can, however, be obtained at the Registration counter on Saturday after- noons from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
No Money Order business is transacted on Sundays and holidays but the General Post Office is open for all other purposes from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
3. At every branch post office the hours during which it is open to the public are conspicuously notified. Money
Money Order business is not transacted at branch offices, but unperial Postal Notes may be obtained at Kowloon on week days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Postage Stamps, etc.
4.-Hong Kong postage stamps of the following values can be purchased at all Post Offices:-
1 cent, 2 cents, 4 cents, 6 cents, 8 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents, 25 cents,
30 cents, 50 cents, $1, $2, $3, $5 and $10.
5.-Postcards bearing 1 cent impressed stamps are sold at 2 cents each, 2 cent postcards at 3 cents each and 4 cent postcards at 5 cents each.
6.-Plain envelopes of good quality in two sizes (53′′ × 43′′ & 41′′ × 311′′) and bearing 4 cent impressed stamps can be purchased at 5 cents each.
7.-Registered letter envelopes, for foreign as well as local letters, bearing a 10 cent stamp embossed on the flap for payment of the registration fee are of five sizes and are sold at the following prices:-

8.-Reply Coupons (International and British Imperial), each of which is exchangeable in any country of the Postal Union or within the British Empire for a stamp or stamps representing the postage on a single rate letter from that country for abroad, can be purchased at the G. P. O. at the prices of 16 and 10 cents respectively for the purpose of prepaying replies to letters. The coupons can be exchanged by the addressees of such letters at the Post Office of the place of destination for local postage stamps.
