87. An additional circuit was set up at the V.P.S. Coast Station to cope with the increased radiotelegraph traffic exchanged with ships. More teleprinters were used for meteorological reports.
88. New facsimile or phototelegram services were also established with Seoul and Taiwan.
89. Engineering maintenance services provided by Cable and Wire- less Ltd. to Government at Radio Hong Kong, at Kai Tak Airport * and other departments were satisfactorily performed.

STAFF WELFARE
91. The Post Office Recreation Club continued as the venue for welfare, sporting and social activities of its members during the year.
92. Regular X-Ray examinations, inoculations etc. of the staff were carried out during the year by the Medical and Health Department.
