CONCLUSION

114. This has been a gratifying year in the realization of many of the postal projects planned to meet the expansion of the Colony and the acceptance of many other projects for the future. The staff position, however, has not been easy as will have been seen in the report, and suitably qualified technical staff in particular has been hard to find. This has consequently thrown a very considerable strain on the existing officers in the department and I would like to express in concluding this report my grateful acknowledgment of their loyalty and devotion to duty throughout the year.

20th August, 1964.
