Tennis
114. The Post Office tennis team continued to show good results in the local tennis league. Various tournaments were organized within the Department.
Table Tennis
115. A total of six teams entered the Saville Cup competition. The cup was won by the subscriber members' team with Hong Kong Sorting Office 'A' team finishing runners up.
Swimming
116. The seventh inter-section swimming competition for the Crook Cup was held in September 1962 at the European Y.M.C.A. A total of seven teams entered with the Kowloon Postmen carrying away the trophy for the third consecutive year.
Soccer League
117. The Post Office Recreation Club soccer team playing in the 2nd Division of the local Soccer League finished fourth from the top for the second Consecutive year.
CONCLUSION
118. The continuously expanding work of the Department, revealed by the details presented, was expeditiously and efficiently handled. Once again it is a privilege to record that the unfailing loyalty and co-operative spirit of all grades have been the indispensable ingredients in meeting the exacting deadlines of postal operations.
