Education
122. Clerical 'In-Service' Training courses covering a fairly com- prehensive field were continued during the year as well as French Language courses for the more senior grades.
CONCLUSION
123. This has been yet another year of expansion and despite some amelioration of the accommodation shortage at G.P.O., the strain on staff due to the insufficiency and unsuitability of premises has been considerable, especially in Kowloon. Revenue and traffic figures in this report give credence to the increase in work and further increases will be difficult to handle in existing accommodation.
124. The fact that services have so far been maintained to a high standard is due to the ingenuity and loyal co-operation of officers of all grades to whom I would, in closing this report, like to express my gratitude.
