Wild Birds Preservation. Revenue.
Any person committing an offence against this section shall be lia
ble, on summary conviction before a Magistrate, for a first offence to a
penalty not exceeding ten dollars, and for any subsequent offence to a
penalty not exceeding twenty - five dollars with or without imprisonment
with hard labour not exceeding 1 month .
Penalty for 4. Where any person is found offending against this Ordinance , it

of Two hundred and Forty - two thousand and Seventy -nine Dollars
and Twenty Cents to defray the Charges of the Year 1884 .

HEREAS it has become necessary to make further provision for the public.
W service of the Colony for the year 1884, in addition to the charge upon the
revenue for the service of the said year already provided for : Be it enacted by the
Governor of Hongkong , with the advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows : --
1. A sum of two hundred and forty-two thousand and seventy-nine dollars and
twenty cents is hereby charged upon the revenue of this Colony for the service of the
year 1884, the said sum so charged being expended as hereinafter specified ; that is to
say :
