NOTES

(i) A woman is one who has reached the age of eighteen years.

(ii) Until the expiration of 31st August 1980,

(a) a young person is one whose age is not less than fourteen years and who has not reached the age of eighteen years; and

(b) a child means a person who is under fourteen years of age.

(iii) With effect from 1st September 1980,

(a) a young person is one whose age is not less than fifteen years and who has not reached eighteen years; and

(b) a child means a person who is under fifteen years of age.

(iv) No child may be employed in an industrial undertaking.

(v) Period of employment includes time allowed for meals and rest.

(vi) No woman or young person may be allowed to work during a meal or rest interval.

(vii) No woman or young person may be allowed to work on a rest day.

(viii) A specified rest day may not be changed unless the Commissioner for Labour has been given 48 hours' notice of such change. Except with the written permission of the Commissioner for Labour, not more than one change may be made in a month.

附註

(一) 婦女指年齡已滿十八歲之女士。

(二) 直至一九八零年八月三十一日止,

(a) 青年指年齡不少於十四歲而未滿十八歲之人;

(b) 兒童指未滿十四歲之人。

(三) 由一九八零年九月一日起,

(a) 青年指年齡不少於十五歲而未滿十八歲之人;

(b) 兒童指未滿十五歲之人。

(四) 不得僱用兒童在工業經營中工作。

(五) 就業期間包括用膳及休息時間。

(六) 不得讓婦女或青年在用膳或休息時間工作。

(七) 不得讓婦女或青年在休息日工作。

(八) 指定之休息日須於更改前四十八小時通知勞工處處長。除經勞工處處長書面許可外,每月不得更改一次以上。
