Interpretation.
PRELIMINARY
1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Waste Disposal Ordinance.
(2) This Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette, and notice under this section may appoint different dates for different provisions of this Ordinance.
2. (1) In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-
"analyst" means the Government Chemist or any person appointed by the Governor under section 23E(5); (Added 58 of 1987, s. 2)
"animal waste" means-
(a) the manure or urine of any animal; or
(b) any dead animal or any part of any dead animal not fit for,
or not intended for, human consumption; or
(c) any bedding, straw or other waste contaminated by the manure or urine of any animal; (Replaced 58 of 1987, s. 2)
"authorized officer" means a public officer authorized under section 23A; (Added 58 of 1987, s. 2)
