10. No person who knows that he is suffering from any communicable disease shall enter or remain in any bathhouse or a washhouse.

11. Any person who contravenes by-law 5(3), 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $250-$750.

12. Without prejudice to-

(a) any other enactment relating to the prosecution of criminal offences;

(b) the powers of the Attorney General in relation to the prosecution of criminal offences,

a prosecution for an offence against any of these by-laws may be brought in the name of the Council.

13. These by-laws shall not apply to any act done by an attendant at a public convenience, if the act is necessary for or incidental to the proper execution of his duties in or about the convenience.
