1. These regulations may be cited as the Nurses (Registration and Disciplinary Procedure) Regulations.

2. In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires-

"Committee" means the Preliminary Investigation Committee referred to in regulation 15;

"defendant" means the person to be charged at a disciplinary inquiry held in accordance with these regulations;

"training school" means an establishment declared in accordance with regulation 9 to be a training school for nurses.

PART II

REGISTRATION OF NURSES.

3. (1) The register shall contain in respect of each nurse whose name is registered therein the particulars specified in the First Schedule.

(2) The register shall be divided into the following parts-

(a) Part I, which shall contain the names of all such nurses as are authorized by the provisions of the Ordinance and these regulations to practise general nursing;

(b) Part II, which shall contain the names of all such nurses as are specially qualified in the nursing and care of persons suffering from mental diseases;

(c) Part III, which shall contain the names of all such nurses as are specially qualified in the nursing and care of the mentally subnormal; and

(d) Part IV, which shall contain the names of all such nurses as are specially qualified in the nursing and care of sick children.

4. (1) Every application for registration as a nurse shall be submitted in writing to the secretary and shall-
