CAP. 281] Merchant Shipping (Fees) Regulations

Purpose or service

The following fees shall be payable-

1. For the initial survey and the issue in duplicate of a radio certificate or a radio-telephone certificate or a qualified certificate thereof together with an exemption certificate

2. For the renewal survey and issue in duplicate of a radio certificate, or a qualified radio certificate, together with an exemption certificate-

(a) For ships not exceeding 1,600 tons (b) For ships exceeding 1,600 tons

Note: For every extension of a radio certificate or radio-telephone certificate to which this paragraph applies for a period not more than 3 months beyond the expiration date of an existing certificate.

3. For survey and issue in duplicate of a radio-telephone certificate

4. For survey and issue in duplicate of a radio certificate or a qualified radio certificate, together with an exemption certificate, for a period of less than 12 months

5. For survey and issue in duplicate of a radio-telephone certificate for a period of less than 12 months

6. For issue of an exemption certificate only

7. (a) For a copy of a radio certificate
