12. A ticket shall not be transferable.

13. A borrower shall forthwith report to the librarian in writing the loss of a ticket issued to him.

14. (1) Where a borrower has lost a ticket, a new ticket may be issued to him.

(2) The following fees shall be payable on the issue of a new ticket under this by-law-

$7.50

(a) for persons of or over the age of 21 years, $10, and (b) for persons under the age of 21 years, $5.

15. No person shall take any library material from a library unless he has complied with the procedure laid down by the librarian for the borrowing of library material from the library.

16. Except with the permission of the librarian, a borrower may not on 1 ticket-

(a) borrow more than 1 item of the library material on the same day; or

(b) have more than 1 item of the library material on loan at the same time.

17. A borrower who desires to borrow any library material which is not immediately available in a library may reserve that library material by paying a fee of $2.50 to the librarian.

18. A borrower shall, before leaving the library, ensure that any library material issued to him on loan is complete and undamaged.

19. (1) Every library material borrowed from a library shall, unless the librarian in any particular case gives permission to retain the library material for a longer period, be returned to the library within 14 days after the day upon which it was borrowed.
