PART VIII

GENERAL

27. (1) Any person who-

(a) for the purposes of any application made under regulation 6, 14 or 17; or

makes any statement which that person knows to be false in a material particular or recklessly makes any statement which is false in a material particular or knowingly omits any material particular commits an offence and is liable, in the case of an individual, to a fine of $5,000 and to imprisonment for 6 months and, in any other case, to a fine of $5,000.

(2) Any person who fails to comply with regulation 5(6) commits an offence and is liable, in the case of an individual, to a fine of $5,000 and to imprisonment for 6 months and, in any other case, to a fine of $5,000.

28. The registration officer shall cause to be made available free of charge at his office during office hours on working days and at such other places throughout Hong Kong as he deems necessary the specified forms referred to in regulations 6, 14, 17 and 23.
