28. Every permit shall—

(a) bear sufficient means of identification of the person to

whom and the vehicle for which it is issued;

(b) specify each restricted area in respect of which it is issued;

(c) indicate the period for which it is issued; and

(d) cease to be valid-

(i) on the expiration of the period for which it was issued; or

(ii) upon its cancellation under regulation 29.

29. The Director-

(a) shall cancel a permit if it appears to him that-

(i) it is unnecessary that the vehicle should be driven into or within a restricted area; or

(ii) for any reason connected with the security or safety of the airport, the vehicle should not be permitted entry to a restricted area; and

(b) may cancel a permit-

(i) on the ground that any condition subject to which it was issued has been contravened; or

(ii) on the ground that the owner or driver of the vehicle has contravened any of these regulations; or

(iii) in any case where he is satisfied that the permit has been lost, destroyed or defaced.

30. (1) Whenever the Director cancels a permit under regulation 29 he shall notify the owner of the vehicle accordingly.

(2) The owner of the vehicle, on receipt of a notice under paragraph (1), shall, save where the notice relates to a lost or destroyed permit, take all such steps as are reasonably necessary to ensure that the permit is surrendered without delay to the Director.

31. (1) If a permit has been lost, the owner of the vehicle in respect of which the permit was issued shall, without delay, report the loss and the circumstances thereof to-

(a) the Director; or

(b) the officer in charge of the Airport Police Station or the police station nearest the place where the owner of the vehicle ordinarily resides.

(2) Any person who finds a permit shall, without delay, deliver it to the Director or to the officer in charge of any police station.
