Registered Office and Name
92. (1) A company shall, as from the day on which it begins to carry on business or as from the 14th day after the date of its incorporation, whichever is the earlier, have a registered office in Hong Kong to which all communications and notices may be addressed. (Amended, 1 of 1949, s. 10 and 6 of 1984, ss. 56 & 259)
(1A) Notwithstanding that the memorandum of a company provides that its registered office shall be situated in a particular place in Hong Kong, the company may have its registered office in that place or in any other place in Hong Kong. (Added, 6 of 1984, s. 56)
(2) Notice of the situation of the registered office, and of any change therein, shall be given within 14 days after the date of the incorporation of the company or of the change, as the case may be, to the Registrar, who shall record the same. The inclusion in the annual return of a company of a statement as to the address of its registered office shall not be taken to satisfy the obligation imposed by this subsection. (3) If default is made in complying with this section, the company and every officer of the company who is in default shall be liable to a default fine.

(a) shall paint or affix, and keep painted or affixed, its name on the outside of every office or place in which its business is carried on, in a conspicuous position, in letters easily legible;
(b) shall have as its common seal a metallic seal on which it shall have its name engraven in legible characters; (Replaced, 6 of 1984, s. 57)
