(b) to a fine of $5,000 for each day during which it is proved to the satisfaction of the court that the offence has continued. (Replaced, 24 of 1979, s. 3)

(1A) Any person who contravenes section 22(2)(a) or 27(5)(a) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $5,000 and to imprisonment for 6 months. (Added, 24 of 1979, s. 3)

(1B) Any person who-

(a) contravenes section 30(1) or 31(1); or

(b) without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with an order served on him under section 19(2), 20(2), 22(3), 23, 24(1), 25(2), 26(1), 27A(1), 28(2)(a) or (3)(a), 29(2)(a), 30(3) or 31(2)(a),

shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction-

(i) to a fine of $50,000 and to imprisonment for 1 year; and

(ii) in the case of an offence consisting of a failure to comply with an order served on him under section 23, 24(1), 25(2), 26(1) or 27A(1) to a further fine of $5,000 for each day during which it is proved to the satisfaction of the court that the failure to comply with the order has continued. (1C) Any person who-

(a) without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with an order served on him under section 32(2); or

(b) contravenes section 32(3),

shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $2,000 and to imprisonment for 6 months. (Added, 24 of 1979, s. 3)

(1D) Any owner who-

(a) fails to serve upon all former occupiers who have notified him of their addresses, the copies required to be served under section 27(10)(a); or

(b) fails to serve upon the Building Authority the certificate required to be served under section 27(10)(b),

shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $10,000 and to imprisonment for 6 months. (Added, 45 of 1985, s. 2)

(2) Any person who-

(a) fails to give any notice required to be given under section 25(1);

(b) contravenes any condition of a permit granted by the Building Authority under section 42; or

(c) obstructs the Building Authority, any officer authorized by him, any other public officer, a committee of review
