The numbers of the rules making provision for the several matters detailed in column 1 are given in column 2 below-
1 Matter. Rules 1. The name of the trade union and the address of its registered office. 2. (a) The whole of the objects for which the trade union has been established. (b) The whole of the purposes for which the general funds of the union shall be applicable. (c) The conditions under which members are entitled to benefits assured by the rules. (d) The fines and forfeitures to be imposed on any member. 3. The manner in which the rules shall be made, altered, amended, or rescinded. 4. The manner in which the general committee of management, the treasurer and other officers of the union, and the auditor, shall be appointed and removed. 5. Provision for the keeping of full and accurate accounts by the treasurer. 6. (a) Provision for the investment of the funds or their deposit in a bank, or generally for their safe custody. (b) The annual or periodical audit of the accounts. 7. The facilities provided for the inspection of the books of account and list of members of the trade union by officers and members of the union and other persons having an interest in the funds of the union. 8. The manner of the dissolution of the union and the disposal of the funds available at the time of dissolution.NOTE. The rules of every registered union must make provision for the matters listed in column 1 above.
The number of the rule in the Union Rule Book should be entered in column 2 opposite the matter covered by the rule.
