RAILWAYS RULES.

1. The interpretation of these rules shall be governed by section 2 of the Ordinance.

2. No obligation to carry out the service indicated by any time-table shall be implied by the publication thereof.

3. (1) The fares appearing in current lists or tables of fares posted at the stations are and shall be deemed to be fixed and authorized fares payable at the booking-offices of the railway.

(2) The fares fixed by the administrator in case of payment on any train, or at any station of arrival, are and shall be fifty per cent higher than the fares indicated in paragraph (1), to the intent that the benefit of the more favourable rate so indicated can only be obtained by the purchase of tickets in the normal manner at booking-offices.
