To prevent the forgery of passports and the making of untrue statements for the purpose of procuring passports.

Forgery of passport or making of untrue statement to procure a passport.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Passports (Miscellaneous Offences) Ordinance.
2. In this Ordinance "forgery" has the meaning assigned to it in the Forgery Ordinance.
3. The forgery of any passport, or the making by any person of a statement which is to his knowledge untrue for the purposes of procuring a passport, whether for himself or any other person, shall be a misdemeanor punishable with a fine of five thousand dollars and imprisonment for two years.
