20. (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other section of this Ordinance, it shall not be lawful for any person without the authority of the Admiralty, Army Council, Air Council or the Governor to manufacture, sell, purchase, carry, or have in his possession, any weapon, of whatever description, designed for the discharge of any noxious liquid, gas, or other thing, or any ammunition containing or designed or adapted to contain any such noxious thing.
(2) If any person contravenes the provisions of this section, he shall be liable to the punishment prescribed by section 29.

21. It shall be lawful for any police officer who has a general written authority from the Commissioner of Police for that purpose to open and search any box or package containing or suspected to contain arms or ammunition.
Search in certain cases.
22. Whenever it appears to a magistrate, upon the oath of any person, that there is reasonable cause to suspect that any arms or ammunition are in any building, vessel (not being a ship of war or ship having the status of a ship of war), or place, in contravention of this Ordinance, such magistrate may by warrant directed to any police officer, empower him with such assistants as may be necessary, by day or by night-
(a) to enter, and, if necessary, to break into such building, vessel, or place, and to search for and take possession of any arms and ammunition which may be found there, and to carry the same before a magistrate; and
(b) to arrest any person who may appear to have such arms or ammunition in his possession, custody, or control.
23. (1) Whenever any vessel (not being a ship of war or ship having the status of a ship of war), whether under way or not, is about to leave the waters of the Colony,
