(13) "Per cent.", when used in relation to a rate of interest payable in any circumstances, means the rate of interest specified payable in respect of a year, unless it is expressly provided that it is payable in respect of any other period.

(16) "Solicitor" means a legal practitioner admitted to practice as a solicitor before the Supreme Court under the Legal Practitioners Ordinance, 1871.

(19) "Treaty" means a treaty, convention or agreement made with a foreign state, together with protocols or declarations attached thereto, or independent thereof but referring thereto.
