An Ordinance to make provision for the due observance of general and public holidays and to amend and consolidate the law relating to the same.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Holidays Ordinance,
2. In this Ordinance,
(a) "General holiday" means a day which, subject to the provisions of section 5, shall be a dies non and which shall be kept as a holiday by all banks, educational establishments, public offices and Government departments;
(b) "Public holiday" means a day which, subject to the provisions of section 5, shall be kept as a holiday by all educational establishments, public offices and Government departments.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Holidays Ordinance,
2. In this Ordinance,
