36. When the action or other proceeding is against a company or corporation created by charter or letters patent, or by or under any Ordinance, which has its principal officer or its principal office or its principal place of business or registered office in the Colony, authorized to sue and be sued in the name of an officer or trustee, the document may be served by giving it to any director, secretary, or other principal officer, or by leaving it at the office, of the corporation or company.

37. When the action or other proceeding is against any corporation or company which does not fall within the provisions of section 36, but which has an office and carries on business in the Colony, the document may be served by giving it to the principal officer, or by leaving it at the office, of the corporation or company within the Colony.

38. When the action or other proceeding is against a husband and his wife, the document shall be served on both, unless the court otherwise orders.
39. When the action or other proceeding is against an infant, the document may be served on his father or guardian or, if there is no father or guardian, then on the person with whom the infant resides or under whose care he is: Provided that the court may order that service made or to be made on the infant shall be deemed good service.

40. When the action or other proceeding is against a lunatic or person of unsound mind not so found by inquisition, the document may, unless the court otherwise orders, be served on the committee of the lunatic or on the person with whom the person of unsound mind resides or under whose care he is.
41. When the action or other proceeding is against a person residing out of the jurisdiction, but carrying on business in the Colony in his own name or under the name of a firm, through a duly authorized agent, the document may be served by giving it to such agent, and such service shall be equivalent to personal service on the defendant.
