SUNDAY CARGO WORKING,
4. An application for a Sunday permit may be made at the Harbour Master's office on any week day, and, if not made till the Saturday preceding the Sunday for which the permit is required, the application must be made not later than 5 p.m., unless some other hour is fixed by regulations.
5. Unless such fees are altered by regulations, there shall be payable for Sunday permits the fees mentioned in the Second Schedule.
6. It shall be lawful for the Governor in Council to make regulations as to the fees to be taken for Sunday permits, the hours within which applications for such permits may be made, and the conditions on which such permits are granted, and the hours for working under them.
7. Where any cargo is received on board any vessel or loaded, worked, or discharged contrary to the provisions of section 3, the master of such vessel, and, if he leaves the Colony before conviction, then the agent and the consignee of such vessel, shall upon summary conviction be severally liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, or, in default of payment, to imprisonment for any term not exceeding one month.

8. The person in charge of every steam-launch, sampan, junk, or other boat assisting, by the carriage of cargo or otherwise, in any contravention of section 3 shall upon summary conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty dollars, or, in default of payment, to imprisonment for any term not exceeding fourteen days.
