Summons to the defendant on an information or complaint.
IN THE POLICE COURT AT HONGKONG.
To C.D., of [address], [occupation, e.g., labourer].
Information having this day been laid [or complaint having this day been made, or whereas you have this day been charged] before the undersigned, a magistrate of the said Colony, for that you [here state shortly the matter of the information, complaint, or charge]: These are, therefore, to command you, in His Majesty's name to be and appear on [day], the [date] day of [month], 19[year], at [time] o'clock in the [morning or noon], at the said police court, before such magistrate as may then be there, to answer to the said information [or complaint, or charge], and to be further dealt with according to law.

Warrant when summons is disobeyed.
IN THE POLICE COURT AT HONGKONG.
To each and all of the constables of the said Colony.
On the [date] day of [month], 19[year], information was laid [or complaint was made, or C.D. was charged] before the undersigned, a magistrate of the said Colony, that C.D. [did, or he, the said C.D.] [as in the summons]; and a summons was then issued by me to the said C.D., commanding him, in His Majesty's name, to be and appear on [day], the [date] day of [month], 19[year], at [time] o'clock in the [morning or noon], at the said police court, before such magistrate as might then be there, to answer to the said information [or complaint, or charge], and to be further dealt with according to law; and the said C.D. having neglected to be or appear at the time and place so appointed in and by the said summons, although it has been proved to me upon oath [or declaration] that the said summons has been duly served on the said C.D.
These are, therefore, to command you, in His Majesty's name, forthwith to apprehend the said C.D. and to bring him before me or such magistrate as may then be sitting to answer to the said information [or complaint, or charge], and to be further dealt with according to law.
