An Ordinance to provide for the formation of the Hong-kong Police Reserve.
[23rd October, 1914.]
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hongkong Police Reserve Ordinance, 1914.
2. It shall be lawful for the Governor to accept the services of any persons desiring to be formed into the Hongkong Police Reserve (hereinafter called the Reserve) and offering their services and on such acceptance being notified in the Gazette the Hongkong Police Reserve shall be deemed to be lawfully established.

3. Every member of the Reserve upon joining shall sign an engagement in the form in the First Schedule or to the like effect.
4. Every member of the Reserve shall on his admission take the oath or make the declaration set forth in the Second Schedule to be administered by a magistrate or justice of the peace.
5. (1) The Reserve shall be under the control of the Captain Superintendent of Police and such other officers as the Governor may appoint in that behalf.
