Service on defendant in public service.

(d) by notice thereof put up at the court house, or at some other place of public resort, or at the usual or last-known place of abode or business within the Colony of the person to be served; or
(e) in any two or more of these modes.
(2) Every application for an order for such service shall be supported by an affidavit setting forth the grounds on which the application is made.
Service of process in particular cases.
35. When the action or other proceeding is against a person, in the service of the Government, the Registrar may transmit a copy of the document to be served to the head of the department in which the defendant is employed, for the purpose of being served on him, if it appears to the court that the document may most conveniently be so served.

Service on certain corporations, company or corporation.
36. When the action or other proceeding is against a corporation, company or corporation created by charter or letters patent, or by or under any Ordinance, which has its principal officer or its principal office or its principal place of business or registered office in the Colony, authorised to sue and be sued in the name of an officer or trustee, the document may be served by giving it to any director, secretary, or other principal officer, or by leaving it at the office of the corporation or company.

Service on other corporations or company.
37. When the action or other proceeding is against any corporation or company which does not fall within the provisions of section 36, but which has an office and carries on business in the Colony, the document may be served by giving it to the principal officer, or by leaving it at the office, of the corporation or company within the Colony.

Service on husband and wife.

38. When the action or other proceeding is against a husband and his wife, the document shall be served on both, unless the court otherwise orders.
Service on infant.
O. 9, r. 4.
39. When the action or other proceeding is against an infant, the document may be served on his father or guardian or, if there is no father or guardian, then on the person with whom the infant resides.
