FORM OF BOND TO BE GIVEN BY THE MASTER OF AN EMIGRANT SHIP.
Know all men by these presents that we, A.B., of C.D., of

are held and firmly bound unto Our Sovereign Lord King George V in the sum of one thousand pounds of good and lawful money of Great Britain, to be paid unto Our said Sovereign Lord the King, His Heirs and Successors; to which payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and every of us jointly and severally for and in the whole, our heirs, executors, and administrators, and every of them, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals.

Now the condition of this obligation is that if (in respect of the ship

is master) all and every the requirements of the Chinese Passengers Act, 1855, and of the Asiatic Emigration Ordinance, 1915, and of the regulations contained in the Schedules to the said Ordinance shall be well and truly performed [in like manner as the same ought to be observed and performed in case the said ship were a British ship, and the said
