2. The Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for such period and under such conditions as shall be set forth in his letter of appointment as Principal.
3. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for 3 years, and shall be eligible for re-election.
4. The Treasurer shall be elected for 3 years, and shall be eligible for re-election.
5. The Dean of each Faculty shall be elected by the Board of that Faculty subject to the approval of the Senate, and shall be appointed by the Council.
6. The Dean shall, unless the Council with the consent of the Faculty otherwise direct, be chairman of the Board of the Faculty and prepare business for it. He shall be a member ex officio of all committees of the Faculty, and shall present candidates for degrees (except honorary degrees) in the subjects of the Faculty. He shall, except when otherwise directed by the Council, hold office for one year, and shall be eligible for re-election.
7. The Council shall appoint a Registrar, Bursar, and such other officers of the University as may be found desirable, with such duties, at such remuneration, and upon such terms and conditions as it shall deem fit.
8. The Registrar, if so required by the Council, shall act as Bursar, and may in that capacity be called upon to find such security as the Council may require.
9. The Court shall appoint an Auditor or Auditors who shall not be a member or members of any of the University Governing Bodies.
10. An Auditor's term of office shall be one year. The Auditor or Auditors shall be eligible for re-election.
11. The Professors and Lecturers whose services are exclusively at the disposal of the University shall not engage in private professional practice except at the request and in consultation with a private practitioner in general practice in the Colony, either during the tenure of their appointments or for a period of 7 years following the termination of their engagements with the University.
Statute 4.
THE COURT.
1. The Court shall consist of the following persons:
