(2) In case any exempted or registered society shall fail to comply with any order under or with any of the provisions of sections 7 or 8, each of the persons mentioned in the last sub-section shall be liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding 25 dollars.

10.—(1) On and after 1st January, 1912, every society not being a registered society or an exempted society shall be deemed to be an unlawful society.

(2) The society known by the name of the Triad Society or Sam-hopui, and any branch thereof, are hereby declared to be unlawful societies.

11. Any person managing or assisting in the management of any unlawful society shall be liable, on summary conviction, to imprisonment for any term not exceeding 12 months.

12.—(1) Any person being or acting as a member of an unlawful society shall be liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding 500 dollars, and to imprisonment for any term not exceeding 6 months.

(2) Any person attending a meeting of an unlawful society shall be liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding 100 dollars, and to imprisonment for any term not exceeding 3 months.
