Part I.
POISONS.
Aconite and its preparations. Alkaloids - all poisonous vegetable alkaloids and their salts; also all poisonous derivatives of vegetable alkaloids. †Arsenium compounds and their preparations Atropine--preparations of.
Cantharides and its poisonous derivatives. Cocaine and its salts.
Corrosive sublimate.
Cyanide of Potassium, and all metallic cyanides and the preparations of such articles.
Emetic tartar.
Ergot of Rye and its preparations. Picrotoxin.
Prussic acid and its preparations. Savin and its oil,
Strychnine and its preparations. †Eucaine, benzocaine or anæsthesin, holocaine, tropacocaine, orthoform, acoine, nirvanin, alypin, novocaine, stovaine, their salts and poisonous derivatives.
Part II.
Almonds, Essential Oil of (unless deprived of its Prussic Acid).
Belladonna and its preparations. Cantharides Tincture and all liquid vesicating preparations of.
Carbolic Acid, liquid preparations of, and homologues (if containing more than 3 per cent. of such substances). Chloral hydrate and its preparations. Chloroform.
Cocaine preparations.
Corrosive sublimate - preparations of. Digitalis and its preparations. Japanese Star-Anise Fruits-Illicium religiosum (Siebold). Mercuric Iodide.
Mercuric Sulphocyanide. Morphine-preparations of
Nux Vomica and its preparations. Oxalic Acid.
Precipitate, Red (Red Oxide of Mercury). Precipitate, White (Ammoniated Mercury). Strophanthus and its preparations †Coca and preparations, eucaine, benzocaine or anæsthesin, holocaine, tropacocaine, orthoform, acoine, nirvanin, alypin, novocaine, stovaine, their salts and poisonous derivatives and their preparations. Opium and its preparations and any preparation containing morphine and meconic acid except prepared or smoking opium as prepared and sold by the opium farmer or his licensees. Every Compound containing a poison within the meaning of this Ordinance when prepared or sold for the destruction of vermin.

Interpretation.
2. In this Ordinance "poison" means any article named or described in Schedule A of Ordinance No. 12 of 1908 which is named or described in the schedule to this Ordinance. Provided that it
