(20) Sub-sections (10) to (14), and (16), shall not apply in the case of any steamship not exceeding 60 tons on occasions when it is being used solely for purposes of pleasure.

(21) The owner of every steamship not exceeding 60 tons and of Survey of every motor boat not licensed under this section, but being in the boilers of waters of the Colony, shall cause the boilers of such steamship or steinship the machinery of such motor boat to be surveyed before use, and machinery of thenceforth to be surveyed annually by the Government Marine motor boat. Surveyor, the Assistant Marine Surveyor, or some person authorised in that behalf by the Governor, and the requirements of such sur- veyor shail be complied with, and thereupon a certificate to that effect shall be given by such surveyor and shall be produced to the Harbour Master without unnecessary delay.

(22) The owner, master, or person in charge of any such un- licensed steamship or motor boat who uses the same before obtaining such certificate of survey shall be liable to a fine not exceeding 250 dollars.

(23) The owner of any such steamship or motor boat shall pay Fees for into the Treasury a fee of 10 dollars for each survey and certificate survey. thereof made and given by the Government Marine Surveyor or the Assistant Marine Surveyor.
