690.—(1) The Registrar shall keep a book called the Cause Book, which shall contain a register of the proceedings in all actions brought in the Court.
(2) Every action or other proceeding, however instituted, under the provisions of this Code, shall be numbered in each year according to the order in which the same is commenced.

Where any immovable or movable property forms the subject of any proceedings in the Court, and the Court is satisfied that the same will be more than sufficient to answer all the claims thereon which ought to be provided for in such proceedings, the Court may, at any time after the commencement of the proceedings, allow to the parties interested therein, or to any one or more of them, the whole or a part of the annual income of the immovable property, or a part of the movable property, or the whole or a part of the income thereof, up to such time as the Court may direct.
