RECREATION GROUNDS.

countersigned by the Governor, and deposited in the Land Office, shall be reserved as open spaces and be appropriated for the purposes of public recreation: Provided that if at any time it shall appear to the Governor that it is necessary or desirable in the interest either of the Imperial Government or of the Government of this Colony, that such land or portion thereof should be re-appropriated, it shall be lawful for the Governor to re-appropriate such land or any portion thereof and to use it or allow its use for other purposes.

(2) Notice of such re-appropriation shall be forthwith published in the Gazette.

3. The said pieces of land are hereby declared to be public places within meaning of the Public Places Regulation Ordinance, 1870, "West End and all regulations relating to Blake Gardens", "Park", and "King's Park, Kowloon" heretofore made under the said Ordinance and now in force are hereby confirmed and shall be deemed to apply respectively in the same manner as if they had been made after the passing of this Ordinance.

All that piece of land shown and delineated in red upon a plan signed by the Director of Public Works and countersigned by the Colonial Secretary, dated 28th October, 1909, and deposited in the Land Office is, subject to the right of way which is shown upon the said plan, hereby set apart as a burial ground for persons professing the Christian Religion, and no burial other than that of such a person shall take place therein.
