To each and all of the Constables of the said Colony and to the Superin- tendent of Victoria Gaol in the said Colony,

Whereas C.D. was this day charged before the undersigned, a Magistrate of the said Colony, for that [ete., as in the warrant to apprehend]; and it appears to me to be necessary to remand the said C.D.: These are, therefore, to command you, the said Constables, in Her Majesty's name, forthwith to convey the said C.D. to the said Gaol and there deliver him to the said Superin- tendent, together with this prccept; and you, the said Superintendent, to receive the said C.D. into your custody in the said Gaol and there safely keep him until
