Be it enacted and ordained by His Excellency the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

Appropriation of Civil List.

1. There shall be payable in every year to Her Majesty, Her Heirs and Successors, out of the general revenue of the Colony of Hongkong, £27,000 to the several sums not exceeding in the whole the sum of twenty-seven thousand pounds ["twenty-eight thousand two hundred pounds" as amended by Ordinance No. 5 of 1862] for defraying the expense of the several salaries named in the schedule A, to this Ordinance annexed,
