Ordinance.

13 of 1873 amended.

ORDINANCE No. 22 OF 1882.

Supreme Court.

Ordinance No. 13 of 1873 is hereby amended by striking out the word "Sheriff" and substituting the word "Registrar" in section 53 sub-section 6, and by striking out the word "Sheriff" and substituting the word "Bailiff" in the following sections:-

Ordinance 4 of 1863 amended.

Repeal.

Protecting clause.

Section 8, sub-section 11 is also hereby amended by inserting before the words "by order of the Court" the words "by direction of the Registrar or."

Section 7 of Ordinance No. 4 of 1863 is hereby amended by striking out the words "and such portion of any gaol as shall be set apart for the confinement of debtors shall be further subject to the supervision and authority of the sheriff."

Ordinance No. 1 of 1873 is hereby repealed.

15. This Ordinance shall not affect anything done or suffered, nor any right power duty obligation or liability acquired imposed accrued or incurred under any enactment hereby repealed, nor any legal proceedings in respect of any such power duty obligation or liability, and any legal proceedings may be carried on as if this Ordinance had not been passed nor revive any enactment repealed by any such enactment.
