ORDINANCE No. 1 OF 1865.
Companies, &c. (Part VI. Repeal of Ordinances.)
as he may think necessary for the registration of companies under this Ordinance, and may award them such remuneration as he may direct:
(2.) His Excellency the Governor may make such regulations as he thinks fit with respect to the duties to be performed
by any such Registrar, officers, and servants as aforesaid:
(3.) His Excellency the Governor may direct a seal to be prepared for authentication of any documents required for, or connected with, the registration of companies:
(4.) Every person may inspect the documents kept by the Registrar, and there shall be paid for such inspection such fees as may be appointed by His Excellency the Governor, not exceeding one dollar for each inspection; and any person may require a certificate of the incorporation of any company, or a copy or extract of any other document or any part of any other document, to be certified by the Registrar; and there shall be paid for such certificate of incorporation, certified copy, or extract such fees as His Excellency the Governor may appoint, not exceeding five dollars for the certificate of incorporation, and not exceeding fifty cents for each folio of such copy or extract.

REPEAL OF ORDINANCES.
161. (160.) After the commencement of this Ordinance all laws in force in this Colony inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

REGULATIONS FOR MANAGEMENT OF A COMPANY LIMITED BY SHARES.
Shares.
(1.) If several persons are registered as joint holders of any share, any one of such persons may give effectual receipts for any dividend payable in respect of such share.
