WHEREAS doubts have arisen as to the powers of the Official Assignee in bankruptcy to administer certain bankruptcies in relation to which special appointments of assignees were made under Ordinance 15 of 1867, and it is expedient to remove such doubts: Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong with the advice of the Legislative Council thereof as follows:—
