NOTICE, THE sale of the furniture, Horses, Carriages, THE
&c, the property of CRAWFORD KERR, Esq, left for England, is postponed until Monday next, the 11th inst., at 11 A. M.
2nd, That the Society continue in being fur a period of Five Years from the date of the 1st la quary, 1817, and be dissolved on the (st Day of Ja nary, 185%, when the Survivors shall be entitled to an equal division of the Funds then in baud.
3rd, "That Ong fifth of the entire number of the Members stad be halloted for yearly on New Year's Day to act as Trustees for the ensuing Twelve Monthe; and the Trustees so elected stall, from their body, choose a Secretary nad reasurer, who shall net as such for the Twelve Months in which they are in Office, without any remuneration,
4th, That it shall be the duty of such Treasurer to receive the Monthly Subscriptions, and on the 10th day of each month, to deposit the total amouet, so received in the Oriental Bank 4 per cents; he shall hand the Bank Receipt together with a List of defanting Members, if any, to the Secretary who shall grant him a receipt for the same, and shail enter the particulars in a book to be kept for that purpose.
6th, That all Members shall pay the amount of their Monthly Subscriptions, say Ton Dollars, into the hands of the Treasurer for the time being, on or before the 9th day of each mouth, for which they will receive a receipt under his hand.

No. 1. The following Movements of Troops will take place when the Deputy Qr. Mr. Genl. shall have made the necessary arrangements for carrying them into effect.

No. 3. The Head Quarter Companies of the 95ta Regt. from Kandy will he moved to Colombo when the weather permits and be replaced by Head Qurtaers of the 15th Regt. the deuchiment of the 95th Regt. Vat Trincomalie when relieved will embark there, and proceed direct to their destination.
No. 4. Six Companies of the Ceylon Rifles will be hold in readless to proceed to Hongkong at the same time me the 95th Regt. Lieut. Col. Braybrooke will be placed to make the necessary preparation for carrying this into effect, and he will also take immediate steps for completing the Regt. under his Command to twenty two Coin- panies (according to mders from the Horse Gurday of 100 Men each, he will submit the details and the Names of the Officers to proceed to Hongkong, and also those for the recruiting Service, and where he proposes stationing the latter, for the Lieut Gent's approbation.
