This Vessel, laving been disinasted in a Typhoon Steamboats for the transhipping of
last year, put into Amoy, and was there condemned in consequence of the resources of that Port being inadequate to refitting her for Sea. The Cargo of tea was landed in excellent order, and the Vessel sent to Singapore under Jury Rig. She there under went the following Extensive Repairs last April, the Voucher for which the Auctioneer holds for inspection: -
New Masla and Spars complete, with new Ien Works, Paten: Trusses, Bheets, Ties, &c.; Der Rail entirely, with new Stanchione and Covering- board nearly all round; new Rudder, Rudder Trunk Pinites, and Gudgeons; new Knight-heads, Stem and Cutwater;
new Hawse Chucks, Chanel Chain-plates, Dead-eyes, Winllese-ends, and Whelps eutirely new Trennciled from the Copper up, hove out, and Copper carefully examined and repaired; Standing Rigging entirely new of the best Europe Rope; Running Ringing and Sails entirely new.
Since the completion of these heavy Repairs the Ship has not been at Sea more than a month. mensures 212 Tous, and carries 300 Tuus: has Lofty Between-Decks fore and aft, and is very well found in Ground Tackle. She will prove, on in spection, to be a Stout, Staunch Vessel, &t for any service, and can be sent to Sea in 24 heare
