Parties calling or sending to the office for papers are requested to pay cash, Terms of Advertising. Ten lines and under $1; additional 10 cents per line. Repetitions one third of the first insertion. Ships: First insertion 82; subsequent insertions 45 cent. Advertisements to have written on the face of them, the number of times they are required to appear, otherwise they will be published until countermanded. In all instances, those who are not Subscribers, must pay in advance.

FOR CEYLON ENGLAND AND INTERMEDIATE PORTS.

Tain Lewis, with Her Majesty's THE Steam Ship BRAGANZA, Cap- Mails will leave this for the above places at daylight on the 1st December, cargo will be received on board until noon and specie until 4 r. . of the Saturday 29th Inst. This route offers an op portunity of visiting Singapore and Pinang, remain-- ing a few days at Ceylon, thence to Madras Of Calcutta in 34 days from leaving China. Steamers are also understood to ply between Colombo and Bombay. Specie, Silk &c. may be forwarded by this route to Calcutta, Goods &c. will be retained on board the Steamer at Gallo until the arrival of the Suez Steamer for Calcutta the same being transhipped freo of expense. Arrangements are made in the Steamers for the convenience of the Nativo Merchants of India proceeding as passen gers.

Information regarding the rates of freight and Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Comp's Offices; and shippers are requested to take Notice that a Shipping order cannot he granted unless the contents and value he distinctly marked on the outside of each package for overland transit.
