A Regular Monthly Mail Communication will be opened (commencing on the 1st of next Month) between this port and England by the Pe- ninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Com- pany's steam Ships " LADY MARY WOOD" and * Bradanza,” under contract with Her Majesty's Government.

One of those vessels will start from Hongkong on the 1st of every month, calling at the above Ports, with Mail and Passengers for England &c.

It has been used upon the Emerald, Duchess of Kent, Prince George, Royal George, Duke of Sus- rex. and the city of Boulogne steam-vessels, and upon other steum and sailing vessels with perfect satisfaction.

Noblemen and agriculturists will find it the best material for park fences; farm-buildings, wea ther-boarding, hurdles, hop.poles, and garden-walls; after it is laid on it is not affected by heat, and from the chemical ingredients of which itis manufactured it not only becomes extremely durable, but has a brighter and more glossy apperance then ordinary black point, and is cheaper than any other can be used. It is also specially prepared for canvass and cordage, and is, therefore, peculiarly adapted for all canvass roofs and coverings, preserving and mak ing them water light. Mr- Roy has much pleasure in referring, as a specimen, to the canvass roof over the artificial Ice at the Colosseum, Regent's Park.
