The China Branch of the Bank of Western India will be opened in the course of December next, and the Manager, is now ready to receive proposals from Mercantile Houses and private Individuals, for transaction of business on the above principles,
A small number of Shares in the Bank's Stock have been reserved for distribution in China in order to encourage the formation of a local proprietory: The Shares are Rs. 600 each upon which Rs. 300 have been paid and they are now selling in Bombay at 50 per cent premium.
Further information can be obtained from the Manager or from Messrs. D. & M. Rustomjee & Coi in Canton or Macao who will also supply the proper forms of application.
