LONDON. THE Undersigned having been appointed Agents
in China for the above Company are prepar ed to accept Assurances in Hongkong. 1st. On Buildings of Brick or Stone, altogether detached from any other, covered with Tile, Slate, Metals or other incumbustible materials, together with their contents, except Cotton or other hazardous goods, Kate of Premium & per cent per annum. 2nd. On Buildings of the foregoing description when adjoining to others, in which no hazardous goods are housed. On such the premium will be 1 per cent per annum, 3rd. On Buildings of the latter description, but containing hazardous goods, premium 1 per gent per annum.
Of the first Class Assurance will be accepted to the extents of £10,000, on one risk. Of the second third Class,, 5,000.
A Building and its confents taken together form one Risk, and the above mentioned amounts may be insured either on the building alone or the cor- tents alone, or part on each.
No Assurance to be considered in force until the
premium be paid.
The Undersigned are also authorized to grant policies on Buildings and their contents at Macao and Manila, pa #
